Did You Know ...
in 2007 the Lancaster Family YMCA provided over $800,000 for membership and program to individuals and families in need?

YMCA Children's Safety Rules:

The YMCA is dedicated to the safety of all children in our facility and on our grounds. For this reason, we ask that the following guidelines be followed:

  1. Children ages 11 and under are not to be left unsupervised by an adult at the Y, unless the child is participating in a YMCA supervised program. These participants should be walked into the Y, checked into programs and picked up directly from the program.
  2. Children ages 13 and over may be in the YMCA facility (gym, pool, racquetball, and common areas) without direct supervision of an adult. These children must abide by Y rules and policies.
  3. Youth ages 12-15 years may use the Wellness Center (with parent supervision) and have completed a wellness orientation with a personal trainer.
  4. Teens 16 and older have full facility privileges with the exception of the second floor locker rooms.
