Did You Know ...
in 2007 the Lancaster Family YMCA provided over $800,000 for membership and program to individuals and families in need?

Community Partners:

YMCA recognizes the need to maximize limited community resources to meet the growing needs of Lancaster’s families. Currently the YMCA partners with over 35 organizations to meet community needs!

The YMCA continues to be a leader in our collaboration efforts with other area organizations. For example, in cooperation with the School District of Lancaster’s LIFE after school program, the YMCA is offering several youth development programs at individual schools throughout the district. Similar partnerships exist in the Donegal, Elanco and Lampeter Strasburg School Districts, allowing children all over Lancaster County to access the YMCA’s positive youth development programs in their own neighborhoods. Additionally, the Y partners with neighborhood churches to provide after school tutoring programs and meals to youth and teens in Lancaster City.

Other community partnerships include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Lancaster Bible College, Millersville University, Girl Scouts of America, Safe Kids Taekwondo, and Salsa Baseball League.
