Resident Camp:
6 days/5 nights, campers ages 7-12 Campers will love this five-night program, filled with fun and lots of new experiences. Throughout the week, campers will build relationships with their cabin mates and counselors. Camp Shand prides itself on cabins with a maximum of nine campers, and at least one counselor. On Sunday, each camper will get to choose one camp activity, in which they progress throughout the week, earning his/her "white feather patch". Each day, campers will also have three opportunities to choose other activities, making every day new and exciting. Activities vary from our pool and lake front activities (canoeing, tubing, and kayaking), Critter hikes and nature activities on camp's 120 acres, arts & crafts, archery, music and drama, our 24-foot climbing wall 30 foot slip-n-slide, 40 foot high ropes course and much more! Meals are always a favorite time of days, with songs and skits making Camp Shand's dining hall center stage for great food and fun. If you like to be on center stage then this year's new Karaoke stage and lights will bring a smile to your face. Each week concludes with a family campfire for everyone to come and see all the fun that has occurred during a wonderful week at Camp Shand!

Resident Camp Extreme:
Ages 13-15. This program takes resident camp to the extreme. Campers will enjoy exciting adventure in a small group format that will increase confidence, build leadership skills, and develop life long friendships.

Resident Camp Life:
3days/ 2 nights, campers ages 6-12 This is the perfect program for campers who are ready for their first "sleep away" camp experience. Children will have opportunities for all of the traditional Camp Shand activities and fun, packed into a shorter program. First Timers will get to enjoy a close bond with Camp Shand's top-notch staff, with a greater staff to camper ratio for this program. Check in is 9 a.m. on the first day of camp. Camp ends with a Family Camp Fire at 6pm on the final day of camp.

Base Camp:
Have you looked at the brochure and realized one week just isn't enough time to experience Camp Shand to the fullest? Well, just for you, we have created the Base Camp two-week program. Come to camp for two weeks instead of one, plus a great stay over weekend in between! On Friday of the first week, parents and families are invited to come to camp's dinner with a visit (5:00-8:00pm). Over the weekend, campers will get to have their laundry washed, enjoy camp all to themselves, and take a special field trip on Saturday. This program has a special rate, so campers are getting more from the camp experience, and you pay less!

Stay Over Weekends:
Extra 2 days/2 nights, for resident campers age 7-15 Here's a great way to spend a little extra time at camp, with a small group of campers. During the weekend, campers will get their laundry done, enjoy the whole camp to themselves, and take a special off camp field trip on Saturday. To sign up for a stay over weekend, campers must be registered for the week before and/or the week after that weekend. If arriving on Friday, please come between 5pm and 6pm. If departing on Sunday, pick up is between 11:30am and 12:00pm. Stay over campers receive a free T-Shirt!
