Camp Shand Employment:
Greetings from YMCA Camp Shand! We are a coed camp offering both day and resident program to campers 6 -15 and adventure and service based programs to teens 13-17. The 2008 camping season is coming fast and we are eager to hire talented and energetic staff members who are truly interested in providing exceptional leadership to our campers. A summer camp job can be the toughest job you'll ever love! So if you are ready to work long hours, expend tons of energy, have an amazing amount of fun and make a difference in the lives of each camper then we are eager to hear from you. Employment for 2008 will begin with a week of staff training starting on June 8th and run through August 22nd. Some positions will end on August 15th. Preference will be given to applicants who can commit for the full summer. To be considered for a position, please complete the following papers and return it to us by mail or e-mail as soon as possible. If you have any questions prior to filling out the paperwork, feel free to give us a call.

1. Review the Job Postings and decide which positions are best suited to your talents.
2. Download and Complete the Application for Employment Form
3. Download and Complete the Employment Questionnaire
4. Download and Distribute the Reference Forms to three past employers, teachers, coaches etc. These forms should be sent directly to camp by your references. Applications will not be considered until all three references are received. These can be mailed or e-mailed.
